Power Electronics & Electrical Drives

About Course

Spurred on by technological progress and a growing concern about the efficient use of depleting energy resources, static power electronic converters employing advanced semi-conductor devices are currently used in an increasing number of applications In the last decade, power electronics and electrical drives have deeply penetrated the renewable energy sector. In the department many faculty members are good in power electronics, obtained Doctorates also. And some other faculty members are pursuing research in power systems. All this will help the post graduate students to gain knowledge and publish research papers to excel themselves in the field of power electronics.
